The Timberwolves can move to 4-0 on Monday night if they handle Cleveland's 5.5-point spread. Minnesota owns a 2-0 road record this season after beating Toronto 117-94 on Sunday. Cleveland evened its record at 1-1 with a 125-121 win over Brooklyn on Saturday and sits 1-0 at home in the 2026-27 campaign.

Tipoff at Rocket Arena in Cleveland is set for 7 p.m. ET. The posted over/under for the game is 231.5 points.

Minnesota's Anthony Edwards carries a questionable designation because of knee injury management. Edwards has started three games and is averaging 28.7 points, five rebounds and 3.3 assists across 31.3 minutes. Six Timberwolves players are averaging 12 or more points. For Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell has averaged 27 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 35.5 minutes over two starts.

The SportsLine Projection Model ran this matchup 10,000 times and projects a combined 236 points, which clears the 231.5 total. The model puts the over at a 56% hit rate. Its record on top-rated NBA spread picks stands at 26-10, or 72%, dating to last season, and it reports nearly $19,000 in profit for $100 players on top-rated picks since 2018.

The over has landed in each of the last four meetings between these teams. It has also hit in five of Minnesota's last eight games and in seven of Cleveland's last 10.

Minnesota finished third in the Northwest Division last season at 49-33. Cleveland finished second in the Central Division at 52-30.
